Eric Medlen Memorial Golf Tournament

Date: Thursday, September 2, 2010

Location: Eagle Creek Golf Club at 8802 W 56th Street, Indianapolis

Details: Help remember Eric Medlen’s philanthropic initiatives and unwavering commitment to make a difference in the lives of our youth. Zionsville Fall Festival VIP Carnival

Date: Friday, September 10, 2010

Time: 5pm - 8pm

Location: Zionsville Lions Park off SR 334

Details: The VIP Carnival is for special needs kids and their families. This event includes dinner, carnival rides, pony rides, train rides, games and more for families with special needs. Visit the Peyton Manning Children's Hospital at St.Vincent booth to receive a free child ID card and to learn about home safety. Pre-registration is required. Roll for Rod

Date: Saturday, September 11 2010

Time: 2pm - 5pm

Location: Edna Balz Lacy Park at 700 Greer Street, Indianapolis

Details: Participate in a bocce ball tournament to benefit the Rod Fasone Memorial Cancer Research Fund at Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at St.Vincent. Zionsville Fall Festival

Date: September 11-12, 2010

Location: Zionsville Lions Park off SR 334

Details: The annual Lions Club Fall Festival in Lions Park will kick off with a parade on Main Street at 11am on Saturday. Come enjoy food, arts & crafts, kids corner, pet pavilion, and a commercial tent in the park. Visit the Peyton Manning Children's Hospital at St.Vincent health and safety fair and receive a free child ID card. Sunday activities include morning church service and American Dream Car Show. 2010 Fishers Safety Day

Date: Sunday, September 19, 2010

Time: 1pm - 4pm

Location: St.Vincent Medical Center Northeast Parking Lot (Exit 10, I-69 in Fishers)

Details: St.Vincent Medical Center Northeast in partnership with Fishers Fire Department will host the 2010 Fishers Safety Day. This day includes free health and safety activities including live demonstrations for families. Learn about fire safety, emergency response, bicycle safety, self-defense, healthy lifestyles and much more. Be sure to visit the St.Vincent Medical Center Northeast tent for free health information as well as KIDS BMV for free child ID cards.


Play 4 Better Health

Date: Saturday, September 25, 2010

Time: 10am - 3pm

Location: The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis

Details: Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at St.Vincent and The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis have partnered to improve children’s health with the introduction of Play 4 Better Health, a partnership in which resources are combined to teach children about good eating and exercise, all in a fun way. The partnership will kick off Saturday, Sept. 25, at The Children’s Museum, which will host cooking demonstrations for kid friendly, healthy snacks and meals every half hour from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Professional chefs will perform cooking demonstrations from recipes included in the new Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at St.Vincent Project 18 cookbook, which will be available for purchase in The Children’s Museum store. Events will also include a corporate mascot race highlighting the importance of proper nutrition; home safety displays; free K-IDS BMV child ID cards; Pediatric Transport Unit tours; and demonstrations showing proper installation of child safety seats.

As a tie-in to the introduction, Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at St.Vincent and The Children’s Museum will offer a special register to win drawing for a children’s playhouse in the shape of the Children’s Hospital. No purchase is required to register for the drawing, which will be available at The Children’s Museum Sept. 25 through Dec. 19. The drawing for the playhouse will be held Dec. 20.
