Andrew Riggs, M.D.
Dr. Andrew Riggs is a board-certified pediatrician and pediatric endocrinologist. He is the director of pediatric endocrinology and diabetes at Peyton Manning Children's Hospital in Indianapolis. Dr. Riggs is originally from Lafayette, Indiana, and graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine in 1998. He joined Peyton Manning Children's Hospital in 2004 after returning from St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Riggs completed his general pediatric residency at the University of Minnesota and his training in pediatric endocrinology at Washington University in St. Louis and St. Louis Children’s Hospital. He is very active in the community, promoting healthy lifestyles for children with and without diabetes. Dr. Riggs enjoys spending time with friends and family when not at the hospital.
Adrienne R. Gomez, M.D.
Dr. Adrienne Gomez is a graduate of Indiana University School of Medicine and completed a family medicine residency at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana. She is board certified in family medicine and has successfully completed the board certification exam given by the American Board of Bariatric Medicine. She provides extensive medical monitoring and education to patients desiring to lose weight and improve their health. In addition to specializing in the treatment of obesity, Dr. Gomez has special interests in preventative medicine, patient education and women's health.
David Creel, Ph.D, R.D., C.D.E.
David is a registered dietitian, a certified diabetes educator, and holds a Ph.D. in clinical psychology. He also has a master’s degree in clinical exercise physiology and is certified as an exercise specialist through the American College of Sports Medicine. David enjoys working in a variety of health-related areas, including program development and supervision, research, education, and counseling. He stays physically active by running, cycling, playing table tennis and shooting hoops with his son.
Jessica Robertson, M.A., R.D., C.D.
Jessica has been a registered dietitian for the past six years. She received her bachelor’s degree from Ball State in 1999, majoring in dietetics. Following her internship, Jessica went on to pursue a master’s degree in family and consumer sciences, graduating in 2001. Following her graduate studies, Jessica worked as a clinical dietitian at St. John’s Hospital in Anderson, Indiana, before accepting a job in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, as the coordinator for diabetes education at St. Joseph Hospital. After relocating to Indianapolis, Jessica joined the team at the St. Vincent Bariatric Center of Excellence.
Amanda graduated in 2001 from IUPUI with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and from Purdue University in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in Dietetics. She has been working with surgical and non-surgical patients since 2007, and started working at the St. Vincent Bariatric Center of Excellence in March 2009. She is a member of the American Dietetic Association and is active in both local and state associations.
Elizabeth Malcom, MS, LMHC, NCC
Elizabeth joined the St. Vincent Stress Center in August of 2007. Beth has her BA in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Indiana University, and her MS in Counseling & Counselor Education from IU as well. Currently Beth is working as a float counselor in the inpatient and outpatient departments, and acts as the primary counselor for the Adult Mental Health Day Therapy Program. Beth also works with L.I.F.E. for Kids, providing the behavioral/counseling component for this program designed specifically for children and their families.
