Children love to run, jump and play. And that includes children with acute and chronic kidney diseases and disorders. At the Pediatric Nephrology Center at Peyton Manning Children's Hospital at St.Vincent, we understand that the effect of kidney disease goes beyond the initial diagnosis and treatment.

Our comprehensive team is specifically trained to care for children. The members of the Pediatric Nephrology team at Peyton Manning Children's Hospital at St.Vincent work with our patients in the outpatient clinic setting and in the inpatient setting. Our multidisciplinary team is led by Dr. Zawaideh, pediatric nephrologist and encompasses other members such as dietitians, social workers, nurses/dialysis nurses, pediatric psychologist, pediatric radiologists, pharmacists and others.

Our goal is to empower young patients and families by giving them the tools and education they need to understand and manage their condition. Our team offers family-centered care in the most compassionate manner. That's because we believe every child should have the opportunity to run fast, jump high, and play hard.
