Outpatient Visit

Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at St.Vincent offers many tests and procedures on an outpatient basis. After a test or procedure has been scheduled, you will be contacted and given detailed information about the test or procedure and where it will take place.

If your child is scheduled for surgery, our Child Life Specialists offer a pre-operative tour to become familiar with the hospital. Anxiety is greatly reduced when children are prepared and know what to expect. Patients and parents will be escorted through the areas they will see on the day of surgery, including the operating and recovery rooms.

Children will also have the opportunity to play with medical equipment and ask questions. Tours are available for children and their siblings of all ages and abilities. Please call 317-338-3582 for more information.
