The Medical Genetics and Neurodevelopmental Center at Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at St.Vincent offers evaluations and management for individuals at risk for, or affected by, a genetic condition or birth defect.

The services offered in its Medical Genetics Clinic are as extensive as they are varied. The clinic can perform evaluations of individuals (children and adults) with genetic conditions, dysmorphic or unusual features, birth defects, developmental delay, neuromuscular disorders, pervasive developmental disorders (autism, ADHD), and failure to thrive.

The clinic also performs family-history assessments, diagnosis of syndromes (when possible), recurrence risk assessments, inpatient consultations and management, and genetic assessment after stillbirth and fetal loss. The clinic staff is a valuable resource for information and support.
